Monthly reflections

A year of spirituality,
Inspired by Marcellin,
Done of simplicity,
A touch almost divine.

Marcellin drank in the springs
Of La Valla and l'Hermitage,
Crossing valleys and hills,
Having God as his rock and fortitude.

In this way he himself became a road,
He himself became a river,
Giving to all attention and affection,
At all times to those in need.

Thus he became for others a source of life
For all those following his steps
Thanking him with all their heart,
For the dream he gave them.

It is a dream burning like a fire,
To make Christ known and loved;
A dream of a true and loving educator,
At the heart every apostolate,

Growing around Christ's table,
Sign and space of the Eucharist.
Where the violets of Champagnat reveal in all beauty
What Champagnat brought to the light of day.
