Solidarity
Catholic social teaching campaigns for a better world for rich and poor alike and the elimination of poverty, injustice, hatred and war. The teaching is built around four key principles one of these is Solidarity.
Solidarity is one of the four key principles of Catholic social teaching. The other three principles are:
- Human dignity – that every human being has certain inalienable human rights
- The common good – that we all must work together in order to achieve our goals
- Subsidiarity – an organisation principle calling for authority to be as grass roots based as possible
This page introduces the work of the Brothers within the principle of Solidarity.
